Making money online - Google AdSense, and Affiliate Marketing:

Every blogger, or website creator who works hard on developing a little plot of land out in cyberspace to share their knowledge and experience with the world, will eventually wonder how they can profit from it.

It is a labor of love doing something you enjoy that will help others, but here in the real world we all need to earn an honest living. There is nothing wrong with trying to earn money from all of your hard work, even if your work is spent creating helpful content online.

If Google closes your account for violation of their terms of service there is no getting your account back. Make sure that you understand and follow Google's policies. It would be a shame to permanently lose one of your income sources due to a minor misunderstanding.

Do not click on your own ad. Do not ask your friends to click your ads. Do not ask your viewers to click your ads. If you do it will not end well for you.

Affiliate Marketing:

Affiliate marketing is the second most popular method for earning an income from your tireless work online.

When you take advantage of the opportunity that affiliate marketing presents you, you are merely helping to promote somebody else's products.

These products could be physical products, hotel reservations, car rentals, or even digital products as well. You advertise their products, or services and get paid if it results in a successful transaction.

You simply place a link on your website to send potential customers to their website, and if one of your website viewers clicks on the ad, and makes a purchase, you will receive a small commission for the transaction.

This commission may seem small, but with ample traffic to your website, and enough of your traffic clicking your links and buying the products and services that you recommend, it can turn into a livable income.

The best affiliate program for you to join is of course the one offered by Amazon. Amazon is a trusted name in ecommerce with a global reach.

People can buy anything and everything from Amazon. It doesn't matter what your niche is, Amazon has a product that relates to it.

Create a website that you are passionate about, and add a link to any product in Amazons inventory. Not only will you receive a commission on that item, but any other product as well, even if they don't buy the original item in your link.

That's right any item that someone buys from Amazon within 24 hours after clicking your link results in a commission for you. Not a bad deal my friend huh?

If you drive traffic to your website, and create a compelling reason for your visitors to click your affiliate links, than internet riches can be yours too.

Some of them such as Clickbank, and Commission Junction bring the affiliate programs of many different companies together under one umbrella to give you multiple choices of affiliate opportunities to choose from that will tie in with your website.

You will have to sign up for an account with one of the main Affiliate marketing providers, and then apply for each company in their program individually.

Each company will have their own criteria for acceptance into their affiliate program. Their terms will be clearly spelled out in their offer.

If you meet their criteria and accept their terms go ahead and apply. You can apply for as many different programs as you want.

The money you earn from the different affiliate programs will all be combined together to create a single deposit into your bank account. This is very helpful to assist you in reaching the minimum amount required to get the money you have earned deposited into your account.

If you don't earn the minimum commission required to transfer your earnings into your bank account at the end of the month, your balance will be rolled over into the next month.
